Lila A. Bargoot

Pawtucket – Lila A. (Haddad) Bargoot, 96, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late John F. Bargoot. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Sarah A. Haddad. During World War II, Lila held a State Commission of 2nd Lt. and taught First Aid and Truck Driving to new recruits. She was a member of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, Pawtucket, and enjoyed gardening and singing. Lila is survived by her son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. VISITATION will be Tuesday 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 249 High St., Pawtucket, followed by Services at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket.
