Lewis J. Ragan

Rumford - Lewis J. Ragan, 72, passed on Saturday, February 5, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Linda Lee (Phillips) Ragan for forty-three loving years. Born in Taylors, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Herbert S. and Blanche M. (Emmett) Ragan. Lewis had resided in Warwick before moving to Rumford in 2018. He was employed by Elmwood Dodge, East Providence, until retiring and was previously a tour bus driver for Tremblay’s Bus Lines, New Bedford. Lewis was a past-adjutant of AmVets Post No. 4, Coventry; past-commander of Major Walter G. Gatchell VFW Post No. 306, Pawtucket and a former member of the Johnston and Smithfield Lions Clubs. Besides his loving wife, he leaves his loving fur baby, Stanley Ragan and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. He was the brother of the late Donald Ragan, Rebecca “Becky” Ragan Peterson, Richard Ragan, Billy Ragan, Sr., Truman Ragan and Sandra “Kay” Ragan Holsenbeck. Services will be private.
