Leonard S. Troufield, Sr.

Pawtucket – Leonard “Lenny” S.

Troufield, Sr., 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of Margaret R. (McGill) Troufield.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the youngest of nine children of the late George and Caroline (Washburn) Troufield.

Lenny was a veteran of the U.S.

Army and proudly served his country with honor.

He graduated from the former Pawtucket East High School in 1958 and lived most of his life in Pawtucket.

He dedicated his life to providing for his family and worked in sales for various local companies.

A loyal New York Yankees fan, Lenny loved baseball and was an avid golfer for many years.

He was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing meals for his family.

Lenny will be remembered as a loving family man who adored life and spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Robert Sturdevant, Deborah (Troufield) Daley and her husband, John, and L.

Steven Troufield, Jr. and his wife, Michelle, all of Attleboro, MA; four grandchildren, Andrew Donnelly, Leonard Troufield, III, and Nick and Patrick Daley; two great-grandsons, Joshua S.

Troufield, Jr. and Matthew Troufield, along with their mother, Melissa Troufield, and many nieces and nephews.

He was the grandfather of the late Joshua S.

Troufield, Sr. and brother of the late Lester, Elmer, Frank, Robert, Ronald, Esther, Dorothy and Grace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Services followed by Military Honors on Thursday, July 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

Please assemble at the cemetery Administration Building at 12:45 p.m.

Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted.
