Pawtucket – Leonard J.
Driscoll, 90, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 28, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Lucille (Lescault) Doyon-Driscoll and the late Rebecca C. (Doyon) Driscoll.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late John T., Sr. and Clara (Haggestrom) Driscoll.
Lenny attended Bryant College.
He was a letter carrier in Pawtucket for the U.S.
Postal Service for thirty years, and was also the New England Regional Administrative Assistant for the NALC until retiring in June of 1985.
Len was a Past-president and member of Branch 55 of the National Association of Letter Carriers; member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees; member of the Sons of St.
Patrick; member of the Pawtucket Democratic City Committee until retiring last year, and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Kathleen M.
Metivier and her husband, Paul, of Wakefield and Colleen F.
Goyette and her husband, David, of South Attleboro; a granddaughter, Meghan Rebecca Metivier of Jamaica Plain, MA; four stepchildren, Kenneth I.
Doyon and his wife, Denise, of Attleboro, Kevin M.
Doyon of Pawtucket, Ann Marie Hannigan and her husband, Frank, of Woonsocket and Keith A.
Doyon and his wife, Rachel, of Pawtucket; several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late John T.
Driscoll, II, James E.
McCullough and Marion E.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St.
Leo the Great, 699 Central Ave.
Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
VISITATION will be Friday 4 to 7 p.m.
