Leon J. Valentine

East Providence – Leon J. Valentine, 76, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine M. (Cloutier) Valentine for 49 years. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Wallace and Elsie (Gath) Valentine, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life before moving to East Providence over 8 years ago. Leon served in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Peterson Puritan, Inc., Cumberland until retiring. Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Lori Lancellotti and her husband Dean of Seekonk and two grandsons, Nick and Andrew Lancellotti. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
