He could think of nothing better than playing a round of golf and numerous hands of gin with his dear friends at the club.
These two passions were passed down to his wife and three children.
Towards the end of his life when he was no longer able to play golf, he continued his friendships with many coffee shop gatherings, all possible through the physical and emotional generosity of his dear friend Jack Devaney.
Leon and his entire family are forever indebted to his and his wife’s caretakers, including Michelle Santos, Cindy Sloane, Kelly DePina, Jeanne Gilbert and Dora Rather.
