Pawtucket – Leo F. Beauvais, 71, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, after a courageous eighteen month battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (McCormick) Beauvais for 53 years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Leo C. and Florence (Belliveau) Beauvais. Leo was a carpenter with Local No. 94 for over 30 years until retiring. A true family man, he enjoyed fishing; yard work; playing pool and was a member of the Ocean State Harley Davidson Riders Group. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Jo-Ann Alix in MA and her companion, Victor Szala, Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher and Heather Wysong and Amanda and Matthew Alix; his great-grandson and best buddy, Johnathan Colon; sisters and brothers, Loretta Robichaud, her late husband, George in CA, Shirley Berard, her late husband, Leo in MA; Joseph Beauvais, his wife, Maureen, Joan Neveu, her husband, Paul and Diana Bean, her husband, Edward, all in FL; a sister-in-law, Patricia Berkheimer, her husband, Wayne...
