Lena M. Poirier

Pawtucket – Lena M. (Vecoli) Poirier, 86, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.

She was the beloved wife of Roland G.

Poirier for 65 years.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Guido, Sr. and Maria (Coppede) Vecoli.

Lena worked as the bookkeeper and office manager at Alcraft Manufacturing, Pawtucket, for many years until her retirement.

She enjoyed cooking, playing cards and quahoging in the Kickemuit River in Warren.

Above all, Lena was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Besides her loving husband, she leaves three children, Kenneth A.

Poirier and his wife, Barbara Kochanowski of Herndon, VA, Nancy A.

Bradford and her husband, James of Pawtucket and Douglas R.

Poirier and his wife, Judith of Seekonk; five grandchildren, Matthew Bradford, William Poirier, Stephen Bradford, Andrew Poirier and Leann Poirier; two brothers, Alfred M.

Vecoli both of Pawtucket; a sister, Emma E.

Miniati of Pawtucket and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Albert L.

Vecoli, Emma Vecoli, Silvio J.

Vecoli, Guido Vecoli, Jr. and Charles A.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
