Laurel B. Chamberland

Pawtucket – Laurel B. Chamberland, 66, passed away  on Friday, February 9, 2024. Born in Lynnfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Warren J. and Shirley L. (Testa) Chamberland. Laurel graduated from Westminster Choir College, New Jersey, where she studied sacred music and earned a bachelor's degree. She was a professional opera singer, an accomplished pianist and was a songwriter of original hymns. Laurel recently worked as an advisor for the Leon Mathieu Senior Center in Pawtucket. She is survived by her son, Dylan Plant of Woodbridge, VA; a brother, Warren M. Chamberland of Westford, MA and a cousin, Michael Brady. Services will be private. Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, Pawtucket.
