Laureen Sheehan

Seekonk, MA – Laureen (O’Brien) Sheehan, 75, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 19, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael K. Sheehan, who passed in 2015. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Laurence T. and Mary T. (Brogan) O’Brien.

Laureen worked for many years as a respiratory therapist at both Notre Dame Hospital in Central Falls, and Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket. She enjoyed spending time with family and caring for her beloved pets, Michaela, Molly and Jaime.

Laureen leaves her longtime companion Al Lemire of Seekonk; two brothers, Larry O’Brien and his wife, Maryann, of Pawtucket, and Dennis O’Brien and his wife, Barbara, of Delray Beach, FL; five nephews, Shane, Kevin, Dan, Mike and Cullen O’Brien and two nieces, Melissa Siple, and Raina Rivera. She was the sister of the late Maryann (O’Brien) Dember.
