Lance R. Shaw

Glocester – Lance R. Shaw, 57, of Chepachet, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 11, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Jeannine M. (Allard) Shaw for 36 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of Joseph Shaw and the late Lois (Smith) Hunt. He was the stepson of the late Herbert Hunt. Lance was self employed. He was actively involved in coaching the Coventry Girl’s Softball League for many years having led the team to a National Title in 2001. Lance was also involved in the Tolman High School Class of 1973, reunion planning committee. Besides his loving wife, he leaves three daughters, Lori A. Smith and her husband, Daniel of Canterbury, CT, Kimberly A. Shaw of Manville and Dawn M. Shaw of Coventry; four grandchildren, Ethan and Brielle Coulombe and Olivia and Samuel Smith; two sisters, Lauren (Victor) Harris in North Carolina, Leslie (Steve) Adalio in Florida; a brother, Lee (Kim) Hunt of Pawtucket and many nieces and nephews.
