Pawtucket – Khalil S. Lamia, 86, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Marie S. (Salem) Lamia for thirty-seven years. Born in Halba, Lebanon, a son of the late Sulyman and Nadime (Jriege) Lamia. He came to the United States in 1988. Khalil had a love for canaries and music. Besides his wife, he leaves five sons, Roberto K. Lamia, Ricardo K. Lamia, Rodrigo K. Lamia, Rogiero K. Lamia and Steven K. Lamia; two brothers, Moufeed Lamia and Saed Lamia; a grandson, Matthew Lamia; three granddaughters, Gabrielle Lamia, Ana-Carolina Lamia and Amanda Lamia and a great-grandson. He was the brother of the late Mayez Lamia and Noelle Lamia. Visitation will be held at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 249 High St., Pawtucket on Friday, October 11th from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Armistice Blvd., Pawtucket.
