Providence – Kevin M.
Antaya, 49, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 with family by his side after a courageous five month battle with cancer.
He was the beloved husband of Kathleen A. (Breton) Antaya for 26 years.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of Cheryl F. (Thurber) Antaya and Ronald H.
Cole both of Pawtucket and the late George E.
Kevin was a veteran of the United States Army, 101st Airborne Division.
He worked as a chef at Ruby Tuesday’s for over 20 years and at Providence College for the past five years.
Kevin was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and a devoted and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He will be remembered by all, for his strength and his loving ways.
Besides his beloved wife, Kevin leaves a son, Daniel J.
Antaya and his wife, Jeanette of Providence; a daughter, Kendra Antaya and her husband, Jayce of Providence; three grandchildren, Jazlene, Jayvon and Jaylynn; a brother, Michael E.
Antaya of Pawtucket; a sister, Nicole Antaya of North Smithfield; a step-brother, Bryan Antaya and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment with Military Honors will follow at St.
Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITATION will be Friday 5 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the family will be appreciated.
