Pawtucket – Kay (Bellas) Matook, 78, passed away at home with family by her side on Sunday, April 9, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of Samuel “Sammy” R.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Panichas) Bellas.
Kay was a devoted and faithful member of St.
Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, Pawtucket and a longtime member of the Nicholas Beram Veterans Auxiliary of Boston.
She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Besides her loving husband, Kay leaves two sons, Mark A.
Matook of Pawtucket and Robert S.
Matook and his wife, Sherry of Rumford; two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Mason Matook; three brothers, Christy and Lewis Bellas both of St.
Augustine, FL and Michael Bellas of Kernersville, NC.
She also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at Noon in St.
Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 249 High St., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
VISITATION will be Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to either the Church or Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914 will be appreciated.
