Kathleen E. Rochford

Pawtucket – Kathleen “Kathy” E. Rochford, 71, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Andrew D. and Anna M. (Pierce) Rochford. Kathleen was a teacher at George R. Martin Elementary School, Seekonk, MA for thirty-eight years until her retirement in 2008.  She also worked part-time at the former Almacs in Seekonk for nineteen years.  Kathy was part of Paperback Pals and the Swansea Salon writers’ group.  Kathy enjoyed traveling to Ireland, reading, crossword puzzles and had a dear love for animals.  She is survived by a sister, Andrea D. Newman and her husband, Robert, of Smithfield; two nieces, Erin Terry and her husband, Nick of Smithfield and Lauren Newman, also of Smithfield; one nephew, Daniel Newman and his wife, Andrea, of Attleboro, MA; two great-nephews, Benjamin and Leo and many cousins and dear friends.
