Kathleen A. Beauchamp

Pawtucket, RI – Kathleen A. (Garrity) Beauchamp, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward G.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Johnson) Garrity.

Kathleen worked as a clerk for over forty (40) years at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, until her retirement in 2010.

In her retirement, Kathleen made her home at the Doyle Manor in Pawtucket, where she was befriended by many.

She also enjoyed visits to the Leon Mathieu Senior Center, where she would play Bingo and spend time with her beloved friends.

Kathleen was devoted to her family and enjoyed preparing her famous chocolate pies to share at family gatherings.

Kathleen loved cats and especially enjoyed caring for her feline friend, “Casey”, among several others over many years.

Kathleen will be lovingly remembered for her strength and determination to overcome any challenges life could bring.

In addition to her personal strength, Kathleen also leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness to all those whose lives she has touched over the past seventy-eight years.

Kathleen is survived by her sister, Margaret (Margay) Garrity and her husband, Rich Lang, of Talent, Oregon and many nieces and nephews including Christine Curran-O’Brien and her husband, Fred, Paul Curran and his wife, Donna, Andrew Curran and his wife, Karen, Laura Curran, and David Curran and his wife, Cindy.

Kathleen also leaves many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and many friends.

She was predeceased by her sister Maryellen Curran and her husband, Ricky.

Services and interment with her late husband at Oak Grove Cemetery in Pawtucket will be private.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
