Kathie A. Frattarelli

East Providence – Kathleen “Kathie” (Ryan) Frattarelli, 50, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, April 30, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Columbus, Ohio on October 2, 1970, she was the daughter of Joseph T. Ryan, Sr., of Rumford and the late Nancy (Harte) Ryan.   A 1989 graduate of the former St. Dunston’s Academy, Providence, Kathie lived in Rumford for most of her childhood and all her adult life. In 2009, Kathie founded Advocare Health Group, which provides affordable, non-medical, in-home care to meet the needs of elders and their families. The inspiration of Advocare Health was prompted by Kathie's relationship with her mother, Nancy, who was diagnosed with MS when Kathie was a young child. Kathie's work was her passion, and as the president of her company she was committed to assuring that as many seniors as possible receive the help they need to stay in their homes.
