Karen L. Quimper

Winter Haven, Florida - Karen L. (Lapham) Quimper, 55, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Gary D. Quimper. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late William E. and Hazel J. (Chalk) Lapham. Karen had worked at Mestek Corporation in Westfield, Massachusetts until her retirement in 2002. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and especially enjoyed being with her four grandchildren. Karen also enjoyed traveling and camping. Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Heather Hunt of Amherst, Massachusetts; a step-daughter, Robyn VonSchmittou of West Palm Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, Jackie VonSchmittou and Justine Dennison of West Palm Beach, Florida and Caleb and Logan Hunt of Amherst, Massachusetts; a brother, William C. Lapham of Pawtucket; three sisters, Barbara A. O’Donnell of Pawtucket, Ann M. DeAngelis of Seekonk and Linda L. Senn of Pawtucket and many nieces and nephews.
