Pawtucket – Karen C. (LeBeau) Departhy, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 14, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Henry P. Departhy, with whom she shared fifty-two loving years since their marriage in 1974. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Vivian (St. Don) LeBeau.
Karen enjoyed a meaningful twenty-four-year career at Benny’s in Seekonk, where she remained until its closing in 2017. Known for her warm spirit and genuine desire to help others, she built relationships with loyal customers who will surely remember her kindness and her knack for pointing them in the right direction. Karen was also an avid New England Patriots fan.
Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friends, who loved nothing more than spending quality time with her family and beloved grandchildren. Karen will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past seventy-one years.
She leaves behind her devoted husband and their three children, Katie-Lynn Tripp of Pawtucket, Keri-Ann Dawson and her husband, Michael, of Foxboro, MA, and Kevin P. Departhy and his wife, Amanda, of Huntersville, NC; three grandchildren, Devin Tyler Lineman, Graham Noah Tripp and Gia Claire Departhy; a brother, Alfred LeBeau and his wife, Linda, of North Attleboro, MA and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Thomas LeBeau.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend SERVICES on Thursday, June 18th at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, VISITATION will be held prior to the services from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Lung Cancer Research Foundation (LCRF), which focuses on funding research to help people with lung cancer to live longer, fuller lives.
