Kanom Mary Demty

South Attleboro - Kanom M. (Mirza) Demty, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of the late Sippie Demty.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Paul and Nora (Killizli) Mirza, she resided in South Attleboro since 1965.

She leaves four children, Charles P.

Demty and his companion, Diane Yany Giorgi, Susan M.

Demty and her companion, Gary M.

Anderson, Kathleen Ells and her husband, Andrew; a sister, Julie Hudon; six grandchildren, Michael Demty, Dawn Demty, Kayla Vinacco, Jenna Demty, Zachary Ells and Alexis Ells and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Albert Mirza, Louis Mirza, George Mirza, Michael Mirza and Eva Hanoud.

Visitation will be held at the Church of St.

Basil the Great, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of St.

Basil the Great, 15 Skyview Drive, Lincoln on Monday at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow at St.

Basil’s Cemetery, Curran Road, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St.

Basil’s Building Fund would be appreciated.
