June M. Ruel

Pawtucket – June M. (Harris) Ruel, 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of the late Marcel “Chuck” Ruel.

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn (Buteau) Harris.

June worked for many years as a retail salesclerk at Apex and the former Zayre Department Store.

Most recently she worked as an insurance clerk at Loiselle Insurance until her retirement in 1992.

June enjoyed playing Scrabble on her Kindle, reading, and listening to music.

Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed caring for her family.

June will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past eighty-eight years.

She leaves two children, Laurie J.

Ostrander and her husband, Michael, of Greene, Rhode Island and David S.

Austin and his wife, Francesca, of Attleboro; three grandchildren, Victoria, Stephanie, and Ryan Austin; a step-granddaughter, Megan Ostrander Marabello and her husband, Jason, of Greene; two step-great-grandchildren, Jameson and Ryan Marabello; a sister, Marilyn Robertson and her husband, Ronnie, of Ft.

Smith, Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Linda M.

Relatives and friends are welcome to VISITATION beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11th at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

SERVICES will follow at 11 a.m.

Interment in the family plot at Notre Dame Cemetery will follow.
