Pawtucket – Juliette “Julie” (LaCroix) Wardyga, 98, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving daughters. She was the beloved wife of the late Felix Wardyga. Born in Pawtucket, she was one of nine children of Henry and Yvonne (Tremblay) LaCroix. Julie worked as a seamstress at the former Pawtucket Dress for many years until her retirement in 1995. She loved to sew and could make any household necessities using one of her many sewing machines. Julie was a fabulous cook who enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Wardyga of Pawtucket and Phyllis O’Brien and her husband, Andrew, of Cumberland; a grandson, Patrick O’Brien, also of Cumberland; four siblings, Robert, Norman and Richard LaCroix and Claire Beland, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Theresa Rebele, Henry, Gene and Everett LaCroix. Interment with her late husband in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, will be private....
