Juan B. Lopez

Pawtucket – Juan B. Lopez, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2011. He was the beloved husband of the late Leonor Alicea, they had been married for sixty-six years when she passed away on June 4, 2011. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Nemesio Lopez and Carmen Ruiz. Juan was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, he had resided in Pawtucket since 2001. He leaves ten children, Jose Lopez, Heriberto Lopez, Gladys Lopez, Angel M. Lopez, Nilda Lopez, Glides Lopez, Maria R. Lopez, Elizabeth Lopez, Luz Z. Ramos and Nelson Lopez; a brother, Jose N. Lopez; two sisters, Gloria E. Cintron and Aida M. Cadiz; twenty-seven grandchildren; fifty-seven great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. VISITATION will be held Thursday 5 to 9 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at WILLIAM W.
