Josephine M. Yaghoobian

Pawtucket – Josephine M. (Shwaery) Yaghoobian, 90, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late George H. Yaghoobian. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Esper and Ida (Thomas) Shwaery. Josephine worked in the bookkeeping departments of the E. L. Freeman Printing Company and the A & Z Hayward Jewelry Manufacturing Company for many years. She was a longtime member of the Darlington Congregational Church where she served as Treasurer and Financial Secretary for many years and was also a member of the Providence Christian Women’s Club. Josephine leaves three brothers, David Shwaery of Little Compton, Frederick Shwaery and his wife, Adele of Pawtucket and Michael Thomas Shwaery of California; two sisters, Georgette Fitzpatrick and her husband, Francis of So. Attleboro and Lora Schroder and her husband, Walter of North Kingstown and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George and Kenneth Shwaery. VISITATION will be Monday 10 to 11...
