Shaw, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2014.

He was the beloved husband of the late Laurette (LaChance) Shaw.

Born in Taunton, MA, a son of the late Joseph and Vera (Ellingham) Shaw.

Joseph was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.

He worked as a driver and salesman for Dottie’s Catering, Pawtucket, for over 32 years until his retirement in 1990.

Joseph leaves three daughters, Lauren Harris of Pinnacle, NC, Linda DeMarco of Chepachet, RI and Leslie Adalio of St.

Cloud, FL; a step-son, Leo Boutin of Cumberland, RI; his longtime companion, Elizabeth Stanton of Cumberland, RI; several grand and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Lance Shaw and his brother, Robert Shaw.

VISITATION will begin on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by Services at 11 a.m. in WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
