Joseph F. Salomon

Pawtucket – Joseph F. Salomon, 79, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Manithe (Zamy) Salomon. Born in Cayes, Haiti, a son of the late Remus and Celida (Gedeon) Salomon, he came to the United States and settled in New York before moving to Pawtucket fifteen years ago. Joseph was a sculptor in the Hospitality Industry. He leaves seven children, Marcelin Salomon of New York, Magalie S. Darius and her husband, Winston, of Pawtucket, Guerline Salomon of Central Falls, Frantzy Salomon of New Jersey, Mitcharles Bazile of Miami, Florida, Claudithe Bazile of Miami, Florida and Faline Salomon of Haiti; a brother, Jeanbaptiste of New York; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at North Burial Ground, North Main St., Providence.
