Joseph Patrick Ruttle

Pawtucket – Joseph “Joe” P.

Ruttle, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

He was the beloved husband of the late Clara I. (Henao) Ruttle.

Born in Medford, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Elvena (Deming) Ruttle.

A veteran of the U.S.

Army, Joe proudly served his country during the Vietnam era.

He worked for many years as a bus driver, and later as a train operator for the MBTA prior to retiring.

Joe enjoyed studying history and retained vast knowledge of World War I.

He was an avid Red Sox fan, a master of cribbage and a talented woodworker.

He is survived by two beloved daughters, Heather Cottier and her fiancé, Michael Carriere, of Nashua, New Hampshire and Tara Ruttle and her partner, David Oldham, of Cambridge, Massachusetts; his former spouse, Constance “Connie” (Albanese) Perelli of New Hampshire; two adoring grandchildren, Joey and Jordan; two siblings, Rev.

Paul Ruttle of Canada and Sheila Trulli of New Hampshire; one niece; one nephew; Andres Villa and loving, extended family in Colombia, and many lifelong friends.

He was the brother of the late Francis and Maureen Ruttle.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 16th, beginning with visitation at 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with Military Honors will follow in St.

Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St.

Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St.

Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38015 would be appreciated.
