Joseph Robert Richard

Pawtucket – Joseph Robert Richard, 87, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of Marcelle C. (Brousseau) Richard.

The couple would have celebrated their sixty-fifth wedding anniversary on June 14, 2017.

Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Raoul and Lillian (Berger) Richard, he resided in Pawtucket since 1959.

Richard was a Korean War U.

He was a repairman in the hard trim department of General Motors, Framingham, for twenty-seven years until retiring in 1989.

He then worked part-time at Tessier’s General Store, Pawtucket for ten years until 2003, and also repaired electrical tools at his home.

Besides his wife, he leaves four daughters, Lisette C.

Finucci and Celeste A.

Martins; two sons, Rene R. and Andre L.

Richard; two brothers, Fernand and Lionel Richard; twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Marcel, Paul and Normand Richard.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

VISITATION will be Monday 4 to 7 p.m.

Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St.

Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
