Plante, 67, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Betty L. (Ahmed) Plante for 48 years.
Born in Attleboro, he was a son of the late Edward R. and Dorothy H. (Bliss) Plante.
Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was an avid baseball fan and volunteered for many years as a certified umpire and coach for many area youth baseball leagues.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves a son, Neil D.
Plante and a daughter, Lynn M.
Arrighi and her husband, Todd, all of Pawtucket; three sisters, Pat Fuller and Lorraine Tardif both of Pawtucket and Cynthia Hardy of Concord, NH; a brother, William Plante in Florida and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Edward and Donald Plante, Sr.
VISITATION will be held on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 will be appreciated.
