Pawtucket – Joseph A. Perry, Jr., 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2024. Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph A., Sr. and Lillian P. (Oliver) Perry. Joe was a United States Navy veteran and went on to earn his degree in engineering from the University of Rhode Island and subsequently had a career with Eastman Kodak Company in New York for many years. One of Joe’s proudest accomplishments was composing an article that he presented at a linguistics symposium in Montreal, which is still used and available online today. In his free time, Joe had a passion for studying science and enjoying classical music. Joe is survived by his sister, Dolores Jenkins of Lake Wylie, South Carolina; a nephew, Donald Jenkins; a niece, Dawn (Jenkins) Smith and several great-nieces, and great-nephews.
