Joseph F. Palana

Seekonk – Joseph F. Palana, 92, of Newman Ave., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy M. (Taipe) Palana for 32 years. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late John and Mary (Donato) Palana, he resided in Seekonk since 1954. Joe was a World War II U.S. Coast Guard veteran; member of the Armistice Post American Legion and the Attleboro Lodge of Elks. He was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Seekonk, (formerly St. Mary Parish) and a member of the OLQM Senior Saints. Besides his loving wife, Joe leaves three daughters, Gail DiBiasio, Robin Meehan and JoAnn Stone. Brother of John and Frank Palana and the late Anthony Palana and Josephine Morley. VISITATION will begin Tuesday at 9 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Coyle Dr., Seekonk. Interment will follow at Mt.
