Pawtucket – Joseph C. Jackson, 90, a retired accountant, passed away at home on Friday, October 16, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Therese M. (Belgarde) Jackson. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Lucy (Dawson) Jackson. Joe served as an Aviation Cadet in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a 1948 Honor Graduate of Bryant College and attended the University of Pittsburg. Joe was associated with Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Company for thirty-one years until retiring in 1986 as Corporate Accounting Manager, and also operated Allied Accounting and Tax Service for forty-nine years. He was a member of American Legion Armistice Post No. 45 where he served as the Finance Officer for over fifty-eight years. Joe was a communicant of the Church of St. Leo the Great and a member of its Spirited Seniors where he served as Treasurer for over twenty years, and had also been a coach and league treasurer for the Darlington National Little League.
