Joseph F. Grenier

Pawtucket – Joseph F. Grenier, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Shirley E. (Vandal) Grenier. Born in North Providence, a son of the late Joseph E. and Irene M. (Levesque) Grenier, he had resided in North Providence and Seekonk before moving to Pawtucket over thirty years ago. Joe was a Korean War U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a Registered Pharmacist at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and in later years at Brooks / CVS, Bristol until retiring. An avid golfer he also loved reading and had a great sense of humor. Besides his wife, he leaves six children, Stephen Grenier and his wife, Cindy of Cumberland, David Grenier and his wife, Claudia of Providence, Joseph “JG” Grenier and his wife, Lisa of Warwick, Karen Dugas and her husband, Ron of Cape Cod, Sandy Brown and her husband, Richard of Scituate and Robert Szaldak and his wife, Linda of Pawtucket; a brother, Robert Grenier of Coventry; eight grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.
