Joseph J. Clarke

Pawtucket – Joseph J. Clarke, 63, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Medeiros) Clarke for 41 years. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of Claire A. (Germani) Clarke of Pawtucket and the late Joseph J. Clarke, Sr. Joe worked for many years as a textile maintenance mechanic and enjoyed playing Hi-Lo Jack on Monday evenings with his friends. He also enjoyed fishing, and in his youth, he played softball for Rhode Island Textile. Joe was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and all the Boston sports teams. He especially enjoyed playing trivia with his family and friends on Thursday nights at Sullivan’s Pub on Armistice Blvd., Pawtucket and visits to Twin River Casino in Lincoln. Besides his loving wife and his mother, Joe leaves two children, Joseph B. Clarke of Seekonk and Lindsey T. Clarke of Pawtucket; three siblings, Stephen Clarke and his wife, Mary, of Cumberland, Kathleen Perry and her husband, Chris, of Strongsville, Ohio and Susan Massemini...
