Paulo, 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Maria V. (Veiga) Paulo for sixty-one years.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde Islands, a son of the late Armando and Leopoldina (Rodrigues) Miranda, he resided in Pawtucket over fifty years.
Jose was employed by the E.
Rosen Company, Pawtucket for over thirty years until retiring.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he leaves four children, Henry Paulo and his wife, Laura, of Attleboro, Mary Ann Barros and her husband, Lucas, John Paulo and his wife, Constantina, and Joseph Paulo all of Pawtucket; eight siblings, Ana Dupuy, Jaime Clarimundo, Helena Fernandes, Edith Tavares all of New Bedford, Georgina Miranda of Pawtucket, Armando Miranda of France, Idalina Vaz and Euginia Gibau both of Pawtucket; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Ecilda Da Cruz, Maria Xavier and Lim Miranda.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.
Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.
Interment will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 8 p.m.
