Jose S. Dasilveira

DaSilveira, 84, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, September 27, 2018.

He was the beloved husband of the late Maria Bernadette (Soares) DaSilveira.

Born in São Jorge, Açores, Portugal, he was a son of the late João Pedro DaSilveira and Rosalina Silveira DaRosa Jose worked as a master mason and carpenter since he was a young boy until retirement.

He was also a member of Banda Nova Aliança in São Jorge, Açores and one of the original founding members of Banda Nova Aliança at St.

Anthony Parish in Pawtucket.

Jose leaves five children, Joe Silveira of Pawtucket, Gabriel Silveira of Barrington, Helder Silveira and his wife, Lisa, of Bristol, Gorete Silveira of Miami, Florida and Manuel Silveira of Pawtucket; ten grandchildren, Shana of Warwick, Briana and Nicholas both of East Providence, Serena and Ethan both of Pawtucket, Nathan and Erika both of Bristol, Evan, Brandon and Colby all of Barrington.

Jose also leaves many nieces and nephews.

He was the last surviving brother of all his siblings.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Mary Church 103 Pine St., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.

VISITATION will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
