Pawtucket – John A. Villa, 76, passed away on April 26, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary E. (Ray) Villa. Born in Denver, CO, he was the son of the late Arcadio and Petra (Dominguez) Villa. Mr. Villa enlisted in the United States Navy after graduating from North Platte High School, NE. He served during the Vietnam era and circled the globe four times on the U.S.S. Mitscher DDG-35. Upon his return, he spent over thirty years working at the former Eastern Wire, Providence, and ultimately retired from the City of Pawtucket after thirteen years as a bus monitor. John enjoyed fishing, admiring vintage cars and had a keen appreciation for music. He will be missed by all the neighborhood kids that he enjoyed spending time with. He is survived by a daughter, Dawn Torres and her husband Emilio of Pawtucket; two sons, Christopher C. Villa and his wife Jennifer, and John A.
