John L. Swistak

Swistak, 67, passed away quietly at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 20, 2012.

He was the beloved husband of Elaine B. (Agaty) Swistak for 46 years, and a loving father to his daughters, Andrea Swistak of Brooklyn, NY and Stephanie and her husband, Jeff Caplan of Lowell, MA.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of the late John S. and Jeannette L. (Cote) Swistak.

John was employed by National Grid for 37 years before retiring as Director of Buildings and Facilities on July 1, 2000, and was an associate at the William W.

Tripp Funeral Home for the past 6 years.

He was a member of St.

Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church; Past President and member of St.

Mary Parish Council; President of the Order of St.

Ignatius, Pawtucket and Past President of Rotary of the Bridgewaters.

Besides his wife and daughters, he leaves a sister, Eveline T.

Engelhardt of Pawtucket and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Janet L.

Visitation will begin Monday at 8:30 a.m. followed by Services at 11 a.m. at St.

Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 249 High St., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
