John A. Sousa

Pawtucket – John A. Sousa, 84, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Maria E. (Barcelos) Sousa. Born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, he was a son of the late Francisco and Maria M. (Rocha) Sousa. John worked for many years at American Insulated Wire Corp. until retiring in 2001. He was a hard worker and a dedicated husband.  Besides his beloved wife, John leaves several siblings and many nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Tuesday, March 5th from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will be at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery.
