John A. Sanders

Pawtucket – John A. Sanders, 74, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred H. (Doyle) Sanders. Born in Providence, the son of the late John and Eva (DiJoseph) Sanders, he resided in Providence most of his life before moving to Pawtucket. John was a shell fisherman for over eighteen years until retiring, and was previously employed by the National Bottle Company, Coventry. He leaves five children, John F. Sanders and his wife, Kim of Greenville, RI, Robert J. Sanders of Putnam, CT, Loriann Leon and her husband, Al of Danielson, CT, William A. Sanders of Danielson, CT and Dawn M. Maloney and her husband, Paul of Hopkinton, RI; a sister, Carol A. Sanders of Pawtucket, RI and four grandchildren, Adam, Anthony, Jakob and Isabella. Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 5 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
