John J. Pickett, Jr.

Pickett, Jr., 93, of Audubon, PA, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of the late Elinor L. (Brannigan) Pickett.

Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late John J., Sr. and Melina (Cloutier) Pickett.

John was a US Navy veteran of World War II.

He retired from General Electric Base Plant, Providence several years ago and was previously employed by Crompton & Knowles Company, Pawtucket.

John leaves three children, Mary E.

Pickett of Wayne, PA, Ann M.

Larochelle and her husband, Paul, Sr. of Pawtucket and John J.

Pickett, III and his wife, Liza of Melrose, MA; a grandson, Paul A.

Larochelle, Jr. and his wife, Lauren of Mansfield, MA; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Larochelle; a sister, Frances Long of Manville; a sister-in-law, Patricia Pickett of Seekonk and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Robert Pickett, Mary Montecalvo, Dorothy Mania and Mildred DeSisto.

His funeral with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St.

Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave.

Interment will follow at Mt.

VISITATION will be Monday 4 to 7 p.m.
