John A. O'Malley

September 30, 1919 — November 7, 2013

O’Malley, 94, a retired construction supervisor, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of the late Monica S. (Wytrwal) O’Malley.

Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Michael and Bridget (Joyce) O’Malley, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life.

John was a World War II U.S.

Army Air Corps veteran.

He enjoyed gardening and was a former member of the Holy Name Society and St.

Vincent de Paul at the Church of St.

He leaves a son, John B.

O’Malley and his wife, Debbie of East Greenwich; two daughters, Christine J.

Flynn and her husband, Stephen of Cumberland and Cindy Malachowski and her husband, Stephen of North Attleboro; seven grandchildren, Kerri Syre, Jennifer Malachowski, Ryan Flynn, Jeffrey Malachowski, Kayla Satchell, Shaina O’Malley and Casey O’Malley and nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Austin, Charles, Michael V., Edward and James O’Malley, Margaret Mangan and Mary Allison.

His funeral with Military Honors will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St.

Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

VISITATION will be Monday 4 to 7 p.m.
