Attleboro, MA, Narragansett, RI and Manasota Key, FL, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of Nancy J. (Nixon) Moreau for forty-six years.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Lucien and Ursula J. (Lombardo) Moreau.
John was a Vietnam Era U.
A union electrician, he was a member of the IBEW Local 99 for many years until retiring.
John was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5876, So.
An avid New England sports fan, he enjoyed Patriots games, golfing and boating.
But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending their baseball games and dance recitals.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Amy R.
Higney and her husband, Kevin; two grandchildren, Cameron and Caroline Higney all of North Attleboro; two brothers, Ronald Moreau and his wife, Linda, of Cumberland and Dennis Moreau and his wife, Cindy, of Norton, MA and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Richard Moreau.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St.
Leo the Great, 699 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
VISITATION will be Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m.
