John E. Hannon

Lynn, MA – John E. Hannon, 71, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Ann Marie (Famiglietti) Hannon for 19 years. Born in Lynn, MA, he was a son of the late John F. and Edna (North) Hannon. John was a longtime volunteer at the Lynn Fire Department, where he assisted at the Swampscott Station. He also volunteered for many years at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, as a transporter. John will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband and dear friend. Besides his loving wife, John leaves his siblings, Lavern Lang in Florida and Robert Hannon in New Hampshire and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
