John J. Grenier

Spring City, PA – John J. Grenier, 84, formerly of Seekonk and Attleboro, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. He was the husband of Claire M. (Ledoux) Grenier of Attleboro. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Avila E. and Ellen M. (Tomlinson) Grenier. John served in the United States Coast Guard and worked for many years as a truck driver. He was a longtime member of both the American Legion, Knights of Columbus and also served as a scout leader in the Boy Scouts of America. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Marc J. Grenier and his wife, Kelly, on Cape Cod; a daughter, Carie A. Leggett and her husband, David, of Honey Brook, PA; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, June 15th at 10 a.m. at St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket, followed by interment with Military Honors at Notre Dame Cemetery.
