John J. Dasilva

Pawtucket – John J. DaSilva, 43, formerly of Ocala, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 24, 2021. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Judith A. (Reelis) DaSilva of Canada. John was a skilled carpenter who worked in the construction industry for many years. He had a strong work ethic, a wonderful smile and respectfully addressed everyone by either “sir” or “ma’am”. John was truly one of a kind and will be missed by his family and friends.   Besides his mother, he is survived by three children, Kane Blanchard, Alexia Black and her husband, Davide, and Makayla Shepard and her husband, Douglas, all of Florida; four grandchildren, Addison, Davide, Jr., Liam and Douglas, Jr.; a sister, Christina (DaSilva) Badger and her companion, Rock Brennan, of Seekonk, MA; a brother, Raymond DaSilva of Pawtucket; a nephew, Taylor Badger; two nieces, Arianna and Aniya; his companion, Jamie Connelly of Blackstone, MA; his beloved dog, Rocco, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
