John J. Bodick

November 18, 1941 — March 5, 2017

Bodick, 75, son of John and Genevieve Bodick, died on March 5, 2017 at home surrounded by his adoring family.

John leaves his beloved wife of 53 years, Eileen (Tracey) Bodick; his children Tim, Tracey, Michelle, and Kevin and their spouses Chris, David, and Elaine; his grandchildren: Matthew, Randy, Danielle, Noah, Sarah, Hannah, Hailey, Joshua, and Riley; his sister Teresa and many "in-law" siblings; as well as many friends.

Raised on a dairy farm in Honesdale, PA, John learned the importance of hard work which showed through the years in his work as a UPS driver.

His love of country was demonstrated through his service in the Navy.

His entrepreneurial spirit showed in his successful sales business with Brookfield Uniforms, as well as in his many business ventures with his wife, including 30 years of ownership of G&G Crystal in Pawtucket.

John had many interests including fishing, playing basketball, and watching NASCAR and the Patriots.

But there was nothing of greater interest to him than spending time with his family.

Everything he did was for his wife, his children, and his grandchildren.

He worked hard and played hard for them and with them.

He was careful to live his life as a good role model for them.

His character and integrity, his humor and wit, his intelligence and passion for life and family- these are the legacy of a great man.

All who knew him loved him and he will be greatly missed.

VISITATION will begin Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by Services at 11 a.m. at WILIAM W.
