John W. Blake

Seekonk – John W. Blake, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 9, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Constance “Connie” (Roy) Blake for sixty-three years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Tully) Blake. A decorated athlete, John graduated from Tolman High School, Pawtucket, where he participated on their swim team and was the 1950 pole vault state champion. He was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Seekonk, for many years. John worked at the former Balfour and the former Robbins, Co., both of Attleboro, where he was a jewelry craftsman. An avid New England sports fan, John enjoyed watching the games, vacationing in Cape Cod and spending time with his family. He is survived by three children, Steven D.
