Joellen V. Mcguire

Livingston, NJ – Joellen V. McGuire, 73, formerly of Middletown, Connecticut, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Josephine (Eastwood) McGuire. Joellen completed high school at Sacred Heart Academy in Pawtucket and then graduated from their school of nursing. From there, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Pawtucket Memorial until 1977. She continued her career as a nurse as she moved from Rhode Island to Massachusetts and into Connecticut, where she lived for over 35 years. Joellen loved the ocean. She also enjoyed music, gardening, reading, painting, and drawing. She was a compassionate humanitarian and made friends wherever she went. She will be greatly missed.
