Joan C. Tessier

Pawtucket – Joan C. (Roy) Tessier, 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 7, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Harry F.

Born in Pawtucket, she was one of nine children of Francis and Dorothy (Glancy) Roy.

A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, Joan was a faithful communicant of the former Church of St.

She enjoyed dancing, reading and playing cards on Saturday nights with her family.

Her presence, sense of humor and lively personality will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by three children, William E.

Tessier of Pawtucket, Laurie Devlin of Jamestown and Patricia Neveu and her husband, Ronald, of Lincoln; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four siblings, Dorothy George, Ted, Jack and Randall Roy, and many nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Anne Boucher, whom she was very close with.

She was the mother of the late Robert, Sr. and Joan Tessier, and sister of the late William, Robert, Thomas and Paul Roy.

Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by interment with her late children in Mount St.

Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

VISITATION will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
